Then clean with Intergrain UltraPrep Timber Cleaner.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cb\u003ePaints, varnishes or coatings in varied condition:\u003c\/b\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003ePaints, varnishes or coatings that have deteriorated unevenly, remove all existing coating by using a coatings stripper or sanding back to bare timber. Then clean with Intergrain UltraPrep Timber Cleaner.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003ci\u003eImportant: If mould is present or if timber is in a mould prone area, use Intergrain UltraPrep Mould Killer to remove surface mould effectively as the first step of preparing the timber for coating.\u003c\/i\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli style=\"display: none;\" class=\"\" id=\"tab2\"\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFor best performance, apply at least 1 coat to all sides of the timber prior to installation.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e1. Remove excess water from the surface and allow timber to thoroughly dry before coating.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e2. Stir Intergrain Universal Timber Oil thoroughly before and during use with a flat blade stirrer.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e3. OPTIONAL: For a longer lasting finish, add Intergrain Colour Additive to Intergrain Universal Timber Oil in your selected colour, at the ratios recommended on back of pack. Stir thoroughly to incorporate colour evenly. When using two different tinted cans of the same colour, it is recommended that the product be mixed together in the same container.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e4. Apply Intergrain Universal Timber Oil generously using the Intergrain Deckbrush™ (recommended), flat deck applicator, paint brush, roller or spray (air assisted airless or airless). Back brush to help even penetration. Ensure edges and end grain are fully coated.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e5. Allow oil to penetrate for 30-60 minutes before wiping off any excess with a dry applicator or cloth.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e6. Allow to dry for 24 hours, then apply second coat following same application process as first coat.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e7. Drying time: All drying times are at 25oC and 50% humidity. Drying times will be longer in conditions cooler than 25oC or more humid than 50% humidity.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eImportant: All timber is required to be free from dust, mould and site contaminants prior to coating.
