Invibe and Inraw feature wall innovation

I am introducing to you, 2 new internal feature wall products from James Hardies that are going to play a big part in the design element of your next project.

Inraw is a 6mm thick pre-finished cement sheet with the natural look of concrete.  Each panel has a slight variance in shade, tone and pattern giving each panel its own unique characteristic.   Inraw is suitable for internal use and creates a striking feature wall.  However, it can be used in an undercover alfresco area or even as a feature wall in a covered pergola area.  Inraw is available in either a satin or gloss finish.

We think Inraw will be very popular with our architectural builders because of its easy installation.   It can be direct fixed to either light gauge steel or timber frames at 600mm centres.  It is very resistant to household stains, chemicals and solvents, bacteria and mould, and is very easy to clean.   Inraw is also very resistant to cracking, warping and swelling due to the nature of the James Hardies cement-composite substrate.  Inraw can either be butt-jointed or installed with the Architectural range of natural anodised aluminium extrusions to create a variety of different looks that are sought after.   Please keep in mind when designing, Inraw is not suitable for wet areas.  One of the key benefits of using Inraw is its level of fire resistance.   Made from a non-combustible substrate, it can achieve the best possible fire hazard properties of group 1- in accordance with AS/NZS 3837.  If Inraw is installed and maintained correctly James Hardie has a 10 year product warranty.   At this stage an Inraw panel is only available in a sheet size of 2700×1200 with a mass of 10kg/m2 making it easy to handle on site.

Invibe is a pre-finished 6mm cement sheet available in 12 colours in either a satin or gloss finish.  The colours have been carefully selected by James Hardie to suit a variety of different aesthetics.  The panels have been coated using ChromaShield technology.   Invibe is the perfect product for your next feature wall or ceiling lining.  Invibe is designed to have very good resistance to fading, yellowing, cracking, peeling and flaking as well as a good resistance to surface scratching, abrasion and wear.   Invibe must be fixed at 600mm timber centres.  When using Invibe in wet areas, it must be installed over 6mm villaboard lining.  One of the key benefits of using Invibe is that it is very low maintenance and easy to clean.
