Hardwood timber is suitable for structural applications to suit the extreme weather conditions of Australia. It is not only an attractive timber but durable, naturally resistant to attacks by insects and with high resistance to decay and fungal activity. Australian hardwoods can easily be finished with a clear oil or stain.
