Yes, we do. However, in peak demand periods our long-term customers are prioritised.

For most projects we need architectural and structural engineering drawings. If engineering is unavailable, we can make assumptions based on architectural drawings to provide a preliminary quotation which will need to be revised at a later date. For small projects such as garages, carports etc. individual truss details will be enough to provide a quotation (span, pitch, roof loading etc).

Our detailers complete requested site measures in-between ensuring our plant has continuous work. Unforeseen hold ups can occur on jobs during the detailing stage meaning we cannot spare a detailer from the office. If this occurs and we cannot get to your site, our detailers will work with you and guide you on what measurements are needed. If we do get out to your site, this is charged at an hourly rate.

We will go to most places in Victoria and have supplied interstate jobs. Where we deliver to is dependent on cartage availability and commitments to our local market. We have had customers in remote areas coordinate their own cartage and we’re happy to work with you to do this.

Lifting to plate is an additional service we do not include in our quotes. Lifting is completed at the discretion of Bar-Truss delivery drivers and / or its sub-contractors. If you would like this service you will need to complete and return our Authorisation to lift to plate form prior to delivery. Please be aware the driver may refuse to lift to plate irrespective of form completion. This is often because the driver deems lifting unsafe. If this causes any problems please contact our office.

Hand unloading is an additional service we do not include in our quotes or the scheduling of our deliveries. If hand unloading is required, please let us know when you place your order.

Yes, if your site requires traffic control for us to deliver to, you will need to organise traffic control. If we’re unable to deliver to your site, there will be an additional charge for us to return or deliver to an alternative site.

Yes we can if it’s safe to do so. However, we encourage customers to be on site when we deliver to check the order is complete and there is no damage. Please read our trading terms for accepted time frames to notify us of any delivery and quality claims.

We will work closely with you from placement of order to coordinate a delivery date. We will give you a window of dates when the job is booked in. Our experience is customers frequently move dates. As your job gets closer to this window, we will be in contact with you to finalise dates. We contact customers two days out to reconfirm delivery dates and send a reminder text message the day before.

Where space is available, we are able to store structures. The business may charge a storage fee for this service. If your job requires rework owing to storage duration, the labour and materials to complete this will be charged.
