Cladding & Lining Selection
When selecting timber for your cladding or lining project, please keep the following in mind:
- The timber used for your cladding or lining will be unique, varying in colour, grain, and features. Showroom displays and samples are only guides and may not match your final installation's exact character.
- Timber is a natural, hygroscopic material that responds to its environment, expanding, contracting, and changing colour with humidity and UV exposure. These properties should be considered during design and installation for durability and aesthetic longevity. We can assist in selecting suitable, durable timber species for your project.
- Much of our timber cladding and lining is supplied in random lengths to provide a natural and efficient installation.
- The technical information we supply is a guide only. It is essential that all installation details, including fixings, gaps, and finishing, are checked against and comply with relevant industry and Australian standards for external cladding or internal lining.
All timber species and profile sizes are subject to availability. Each customisation process, such as pre-finishing or special machining, will have its own lead time.
