If you need to increase the height of the drain cover unit, using the Fundo Click and Seal Height Adjustement Kit will not only to adjust the height of the cover, but using it will close interior threaded drain surfaces so dirt cannot catch there. The drain cover extension can be cut at its lowest setting so the cover can sit flat and as low as when not using the drain cover exension.
