Primeline™ weatherboards are a pre-primed, site-painted weatherboard. They’re a narrow weatherboard best suited to heritage weatherboard homes.
Durable
James Hardie’s fibre cement is resistant to fire, termites, rot and damage from moisture.
Speed of Installation
Gun-nail to timber frames or screw to light gauge steel frames. Pre-primed and ready for paint.
Fire Resistant
Adheres to bushfire attack level requirements to BAL40. Fire rating up to 60 minutes when used with HardieSmart wall systems.
Timber Look
Fibre cement with the charm of timber without the longevity issues of shrinking, swelling and warping to retain its looks for longer.
Barwon Timber offers the PrimeLine™ range in three classic profiles:
Heritage
A pre-primed, double board width weatherboard with rebated edges to create shadow lines.
Newport
A pre-primed smooth, narrow weatherboard. Compatible with the HardieLock fixing system.
Chamfer
A pre-primed double board width weatherboard with clean lines to create a shadow effect.
PrimeLine™ weatherboards are suitable for use as external cladding in residential single and medium-density homes, including alterations and additions, where a traditional or contemporary weatherboard look is required.
These weatherboards are an ideal choice for any home builder looking to provide a stylish finish on either timber or steel-framed houses. The fibre cement gives the look of timber without the longevity issues of shrinking, swelling and warping to retain its look for longer.
