The Makita 18V Laminate Trimmer Skin features a BL Brushless Motor for increased power and runtime. Soft start technology minimizes start-up shock for smooth operation, while the variable speed control dial adjusts rotation speed from 10,000 to 30,000rpm for versatility.

It includes an on/off switch with a safety lock and variable speed to prevent accidental start-up, ensuring safety during use and transport. The shaft lock enables easy installation and removal of trimmer bits with a single wrench.  An aluminium base with rack and pinion depth adjustment ensures precise cutting depths, complemented by an LED job light for improved visibility.
