Got a nice bit of timber and don’t want to see a connector? HOLZ Technic has got a solution for you. The Lock T Timber-To- Timber mini connector is an innovative hook plate that achieves completely concealed timber to timber connections. This little connector is suitable for small indoor and outdoor structures – think pergolas and furniture. It’s our hardware purchaser Maree’s favourite of the range and available now in our hardware store.
Building something bigger? The Lock T connectors come in a bigger size and bigger holding capacity. The connector can be easily disassembled meaning you can also use it for temporary structures. Lock T was the pick of the range for Greg our hardware Team Leader.

Rothoblaas’ high performance wraps and tapes have also landed in the hardware store. We’re stocking the Traspir Evo 160 monolithic breathable membrane. Traspir Evo 160 is a highly breathable monolithic membrane that provides waterproofing and airtightness. It can be used for both passive and high performing homes.
If a monolithic wrap is a bit overkill, we’ve also got the Traspir Net 160 highly breathable microporous membrane for roofing. The TRASPIR NET 160 membrane is made up of three layers: non-woven surface fabric, breathable microporous polypropylene film and reinforcing grid. It is a waterproofing solution that ensures great thermal stability and strength.
