Pine Weatherboards vs Premium H3 Primed Pine Weatherboards

There’s pine weatherboards, and then there’s PREMIUM H3 primed weatherboards.

We couldn’t tell you the number of weatherboards we’ve moved through Barwon Timber over the years other than it’s a lot.  We’re adding to our huge range of options with the introduction of Clay Mark’s Tru-Side H3 treated PREMIUM primed weatherboards.

Timber weatherboards have been a consistent feature of Australian homes since introduction in 1850.  Barwon Timber offers weatherboards in a number of profiles and materials.  Despite the introduction of new construction materials, primed pine weatherboards are still a staple in our yard.

We’re pleased to now offer Tru-Side H3 treated primed weatherboards.   Tru-Side is a natural wood product harvested from certified New Zealand forests.   The H3 treatment delivers a longer lasting pine weatherboard better suited to outdoor applications.

The timber is a premium quality finger joined pine with a clean surface and minimal to no knots.   The result is less splits during installation than traditional pine weatherboards.    Tru-Side is available in two profiles – Bevel and Bullnose.

Tru-Side PREMIUM H3 treated pine weatherboards are primed with two coats of Dulux primer and base coat.   The product installation guide provides details on installation and topcoat applications.

Claymark offer a 25 year limited warranty against termite attack, rot and fungal decay.  Ensure you read the installation guide and the links to the manufacturers warranty conditions prior to selecting Tru-Side weatherboards.
