At Barwon Timber, we create a range of timber claddings and linings at our Geelong Mill. Our timber cladding is available in a variety of species, finishes, and profiles, which allows you to create unique and visually appealing facades. Timber cladding creates a beautiful design feature for residential and commercial buildings. It can be fixed to exterior and interior walls and is popular with builders and architects.

Euclad Cladding
Euclad is Barwon Timber’s concealed fix timber cladding system, offering a clean look without visible screws or nails. It can have eased or square edges. For horizontal cladding, specify eased top edges to prevent moisture buildup.
Barwon Timber can machine Euclad in different widths while keeping the same tongue and groove profile, enabling varied sizes and patterns for your desired look.
To complement our cladding range, Barwon Timber also offers a selection of timber and aluminium stops.
Shiplap Cladding
Barwon Timber's Shiplap cladding is a face fix (visible fixings) cladding profile. It features on many exterior finishes of buildings in the Geelong and Surf Coast area.
When you’re looking for a unique visual finish, Barwon Timber’s Shiplap cladding can be machined in different widths with the same tongue and groove profile, enabling designers to mix sizes and explore with patterns. Our shiplap cladding can be machined with eased or square top and bottom edges.
If you are running shiplap cladding horizontally, please ensure your shiplap cladding is specified with an eased edge.
Battenclad Cladding
Battenclad is a cladding profile we developed with architects and builders, mimicking a batten effect with less on-site labour. It has a 120mm width with a centre groove, which can be varied for different aesthetics. The standard profile suits vertical external applications, while an eased edge option is available for horizontal use.
Battenclad creates a striking internal feature and we can machine it as a lining board if desired.
Barwon Timber also offers a range of timber and aluminium stops to complement our cladding range. We can also pre-coat Battenclad cladding if desired. Barwon Timber’s pre-coating service will save you time and seal the board to minimise weather degradation during and after construction.
Shou Sugi Ban
Barwon Timber offers a premium traditional Shou Sugi Ban Cladding. Shou Sugi Ban provides authentic, hand-charred character using ancient Japanese techniques.
