Cutek® Colourtone Tint

Cutek® Colourtone Tint makes it easy to preserve the beautiful, natural colouring of your timber. It is designed to be used with all Cutek® wood protection oils , which are clear.

Timber treated with clear Cutek® oils will not flake or peel over time, and will gradually fade to a silver patina as it weathers instead. Mixing Colourtone with the oil delays the silvering process to preserve the timber's natural colour.

• Preserves and enhances the original colour and character of timber
• Rich colouring allows the timber's markings, grain, and knots to shine through
• Increases UV protection of Cutek®-coated timber
• Heat-resistant up to 80°C
• Water-resistant against fresh and salt water
• Only 250ml of Colourtone required for 5L of Cutek® oil

Cutek® Colourtones are designed to be used exclusively with clear Cutek® wood coatings . It is recommended you select a Colourtone that is the closest match to to your intended timber, especially for horizontal walk-on surfaces like decking. However, it is possible to achieve a higher build of colour to change the original tone of vertical surfaces like cladding and screening.
