Barwon Timber's Shiplap cladding is a face fix (visible fixings) cladding profile. It features on many exterior finishes of buildings in the Geelong and Surf Coast area.
When you’re looking for a unique visual finish, Barwon Timber’s Shiplap cladding can be machined in different widths with the same tongue and groove profile, enabling designers to mix sizes and explore with patterns. Our shiplap cladding can be machined with eased or square top and bottom edges.
Timeless Aesthetic:
The clean horizontal lines of shiplap create visual depth while maintaining a simple, refined appearance.
Suitable for Internal & External Applications:
Many timber species can be used for both interior wall cladding and external cladding, allowing design continuity throughout your project.
Natural Timber Character:
Every board is unique, with natural variation in grain, colour and texture that cannot be replicated by synthetic products. Timber will continue to evolve and develop character over time.
Versatile Design Options
Shiplap can be installed horizontally or vertically and suits a variety of architectural styles, from modern coastal homes through to heritage renovations.
Shiplap is an external cladding. It can be milled for internal lining boards for feature walls.
