Surface Preparation:

To begin, eliminate surface dirt by either sweeping or washing with water.

Application:

1. Start by removing any surface dirt with a sweep or wash down using water.
2. Ensure thorough shaking of PowerPrep before use.
3. Wet the designated timber surfaces with water.
4. Apply PowerPrep directly onto the timber using a stiff bristle brush, broom, or spray. Clean entire sections at once to avoid patchiness. Avoid spot cleaning for consistent results. Note: PowerPrep can create slippery surfaces. Exercise caution when walking on treated areas.
5. Let PowerPrep sit on the timber for 10-15 minutes. Reapply if necessary to keep the timber damp. Avoid allowing PowerPrep to dry on the surface.
6. Apply PowerPrep on cool surfaces away from direct sunlight for optimal outcomes to prevent premature drying.
7. Scrub the timber vigorously with a stiff broom, avoiding the use of wire brushes.
8. Thoroughly rinse exterior surfaces with maximum water pressure from a garden hose or high-pressure water cleaner. Preferably, use a high-pressure water cleaner for best results. IMPORTANT: Ensure complete removal of PowerPrep to prevent timber discolouration beneath clear finishes.
9. If stubborn areas persist, reapply PowerPrep as needed following the above instructions.
10. Allow the timber to dry completely before applying additional products.
