New door furniture finishes rarely hit the market, so when they do we get excited and two of our suppliers have released new black door furniture ranges worth looking at.
We’ve combined what we think is the best of both to give our customers a complete range of black door furniture for their next build.
Gainsborough releases the Matt Black door furniture range
Gainsborough has brought out its Matt Black range of door furniture and it looks good. Really good. The range includes black door levers and black door handles for internal and external applications.
For our customers who don’t want their door handles and door levers to dominate the look of their interior, the Matt Black range is a perfect solution. Gainsborough has taken its Angular passage and privacy lever design and added it to the Matt Black range. Angular is a favourite design amongst our builders and their clients owing to its clean lines and timeless design.
The entry door range includes Gainsborough’s Angular Trilock series, combining deadlock, lockset and passage functions into a clean and small unit. The popular trilock system is available in a singe and double cylinder. There is also a range of black cavity door fittings to complement the black levers and black door handles.
If you’ve got a larger door, there’s a Matt Black pull handle with complementing lock sets. The pull handle is also on display in our Hardware store. You can have more of a look at the Matt Black range of door furniture at Gainsborough’s website.
Black door furniture from Zanda brings the look together
To complete the black door furniture range at Barwon Timber, we have a selection of hardware from Zanda. This includes 100mm black hinges with screw fixings. The base material of the hinges is 304 stainless.
The 5229 Round Skirting Fix Wall Mounted Door Stop is Zanda’s most popular door stop and is used in both residential and commercial projects. It is also available in Brushed Nickel and Satin Chrome finishes and Zanda are able to powdercoat the 5229 Door Stop in any standard Dulux colour.
Zandas’ range of Verve long flush door pulls look good on cavity and sliding doors and come in a range of sizes. We’re finding the long flush pulls look good on the large cavity doors we’re supplying to customers. We’ve also selected Zanda’s rectangular edge pull for your sliding doors if you prefer your door furniture to be hidden.
