They are forged in one piece with two hardening zones and a robust I-profile that goes through the entire handle. This makes them extremely tough and maximizes the power transmission into the workpiece. A 25° grind gives the edge an optimal ratio between sharpness and durability. They can be resharpened down almost the entire blade length giving them a very long lifespan. The entire chisel, including the handle, can be placed completely flat against a surface allowing you to make a perfect parallel cut. The nylon end cap can be replaced if it gets worn out.
