Tasmanian Oak is one of Australia's most versatile timbers – pale in tone, subtle in grain, and warm in character. Touchwood Veneer Panelling brings this classic Tasmanian hardwood to your walls and ceilings at a fraction of the cost of solid timber.
Each panel features genuine 0.55mm quarter cut Tasmanian Oak veneer pressed onto a 9mm moisture-resistant black MDF core. The black substrate means gaps at joins virtually disappear. With 100mm VJ grooves machined into the face, the panels replicate traditional solid timber VJ panelling – but install faster and cost less.
The tongue and groove system makes installation straightforward. Fix directly to plasterboard, or batten out walls at 450–600mm centres. Use on walls, ceilings, bedheads, bulkheads, cupboard fronts, or kitchen islands – vertically or horizontally.
A protective coating is essential to protect against moisture, fading, and wear.
