The Sellwood Deluxe Range is ideal for those wanting easier access to their ceiling space. With a gentler angle (63°) and a deeper tread (120mm) the Deluxe Range offers a more comfortable climb.
The original Sellwood D36 is suitable for more frequent residential use for ceiling heights 3100mm to 3660mm, common in villa style homes built from the 1880s through to the 1920s. They are most often used to access storage space in the attic. The D36 is also suitable for light commercial use.
Given the height and weight of the D36, Sellwood has incorporated a number of unique design features including a four section folding ladder and a second stage spring system to take the weight of the bottom three sections of the ladder as they are being unfolded and folded back up again, allowing for easier operation.
