The new Makita DHP482Z is a compact 18V Hammer Driver Drill, designed to replace its predecessor, the DHP456Z. The DHP482Z offers a more compact size and higher fastening torque, making it ideal for various trades that require an efficient 18V tool for drilling and fastening.

It features a mechanical 2-speed gearing selection switch at the top for choosing between high and low speeds. The single sleeve keyless chuck allows for easy one-handed bit installation and removal. Additionally, the twin LED job light with pre-glow and after-glow functions provides broader illumination compared to a single LED.
