The broad butt hinge features wider hinge leaves and a loose pin configuration which allows heavy duty doors to be quickly and easily removed. Suitable for interior or structural doorway.

The hinge sits in recess in the door timer and jamb. Mortise tool is required for installation of the hinge. Applying bearing lubrication in the pin enables the hinge to smoothly and quietly rotate.
