wedi® Tools Sealing Gaiter

There are two main types based on pipe diameters:

1. wedi Sealing Collar DN10-DN25

• For small pipes (10–25 mm outer diameter).
• Common uses: Shower mixers, faucet supply lines, small drain pipes.
• Material: Flexible, waterproof EPDM rubber.
• Installation:
• Slide over the pipe before fixing.
• Press firmly into wedi board or sealing mat (e.g., Subliner).
• Seal edges with wedi Joint Sealant or silicone for extra protection.

2. wedi Sealing Collar DN40-DN70

• For larger pipes (40–70 mm outer diameter).
• Common uses: Shower drains, waste pipes, ventilation ducts.
• Material: Durable EPDM rubber with an adjustable compression ring.
• Installation:
• Place around the pipe before final positioning.
• Tighten the compression ring for a snug fit.
• Seal with wedi-approved waterproofing adhesive.

Key Benefits:

• Prevents water ingress around pipe penetrations.
• Flexible & durable (resists movement without cracking).
• Compatible with wedi boards, Subliner mats, and other substrates.
• Suitable for use with underfloor heating pipes.
