Inside, sponges store and charge the line with ink, and you can easily impart more ink by pressing the rubber button. Pinning the loose end of the line is a breeze thanks to the spring-loaded pin, which conveniently stows away when not needed. For ultimate control, a lock feature lets you manage the line length without ever touching the string. The unit also features a retractable nose that holds the line firmly against your material, even working into tight corners. And, just like a tape measure, the auto-rewind function means there's no need to manually reel the line back in once your mark is made, saving you valuable time on the job.
